Tiffany S. Tensen, CPA

Senior Manager, CGL Strategic Business & Tax Advisors

Well trained and skilled in assurance engagements with her Review and Audit background, Tiffany’s career path has had her lead numerous Audits and Review files for both private companies and non-profit organizations.

With a rural background herself, Tiffany’s has shaped her career by working closely with many clients within the oilfield, agricultural, and other small business sectors.  She loves to assist clients with matters such as operational efficiencies, management, internal control mechanisms, and performance measurement… you know… the fun stuff.

Tiffany’s passion for working directly with clients along with the blue-collar approach that CGL Strategic Business & Tax Advisors prides themselves on is what attracted her to join the team.  She is excited to work with both existing and new clients and help them grow. Tiffany hopes to use her knowledge to help clients expand their business while keeping a next-door neighbour approach to her work.

Alberta has a growing population of upcoming retirees. Given Tiffany's proactive "plan ahead” attitude, she has been advancing her knowledge of various tax and financial planning measures. In doing so, Tiffany plans to better serve our existing and future clients with their succession and estate planning needs.

We are excited to have her in our office and believe that her professional background is well balanced and complemented by her genuine country girl demeanor. It is highly likely you will see her wearing her cowgirl boots and jeans in the office because, well… that’s who she is.

At CGL we love to challenge the accounting stereotype and we pride ourselves on being more approachable to the blue-collar sector. From beef production, to earth moving, to oilfield services, to trucking and transport – you don’t wear a suit to work, and neither do we.

Tiffany, her husband, and close family & friends are all very active in the great outdoors. You can usually see them frequently in the Bighorn backcountry driving their team of Clydesdales, roaming the mountain peaks by horseback, assisting local farmers driving cattle to pasture, or taking care of local farms in the owners absence.

Her passion for the “Alberta Way” is fostered through her position as Vice President of the Rocky Ranch Horse Association (o/a Meagan Kirstein Memorial Rodeo).
